Mr.
Firestone has more than 25 years of experience in sales
management, business development, supply chain management, and
executive training and development in multiple industries. With a
proven record of accomplishments in marketing, promoting and
selling various products, concepts and relationships, Mr.
Firestone’s leadership skills have enabled companies to grow
from inception to national recognition. Mr. Firestone is
recognized for his industry vision, strategic thinking, ability to
foster synergistic partnerships, and development of innovative
products and services.
Prior
to co-founding Firestone-Callahan, Mr. Firestone was the primary
owner/operator of NCI; a leading provider of supply chain
education designed to build shared understanding and improved
business operations among supply chain stakeholders. During
his tenure, Mr. Firestone oversaw the strategic direction of NCI,
served as keynote speaker at national conferences, designed and
facilitated panels at professional education summits, provided
corporate selling training, and established NCI's pioneering IDN
Summit & Expo as the premier supply chain industry conference.
Also during this time, Mr. Firestone authored a book titled
"Swimming with the Supertankers" written to help medical
and pharmaceutical sales and marketing professionals gain a better
understanding of the elements necessary for fostering mutually
beneficial relationships with hospital & health system

Prior
to joining NCI in 1996, Mr. Firestone led the U.S. sales and
marketing division of Richard-Allan Medical. During his
tenure, he was responsible for training and implementing a
Japanese-developed total quality management (TQM) program called
“Kaizen” throughout the sales and marketing departments.
These changes resulted in the company achieving double digit gross
profit increases. Greg also developed a comprehensive and
highly successful training program focused on negotiation and
communication skills.
Before
entering the healthcare industry, Mr. Firestone spent 12 years in
progressive management positions in food manufacturing and
processing for Welch and Beatrice Foods. During his tenure
with Beatrice, he was responsible for launching an innovative Snak
Pack operation, which included training and implementing Kaizen
throughout the entire operation.
Mr.
Firestone holds a BS in Psychology from the University of Toledo.
